Disney Finalist
The '91 Blue girls won their group with wins against South Shore Select (Mass. State Champions) 3-1, Cincinatti United Premier 3-0, and a draw against FC Delco 2-2. In the semifinal, the girls were pushed to penalty kicks against the Laurel Wildcats. The Wildcats are Maryland State Champs and Region I semifinalist. The girls advanced to the final winning 3-2 on penalties. In the final, the girls outplayed Team Boca, but were denied victory only to lose on a penalty kick. The team was also awarded the Fair Play award for superior sportsmanship.
